We warmly invite you to celebrate World Thinking Day 2027 with Polish Guides and Scouts! Join us in the days leading up to this special event and on World Thinking Day itself.
Our initiative pairs units from different parts of the world with Polish Scouts and Guides. Each pair will have the chance to work together on the different tasks from the activity pack, build new friendships and get to know other cultures. All activities should be inspired by the WAGGGS World Thinking Day 2027 pack.
You have the flexibility to participate online or in person. You can follow the activity instructions from the pack exactly or adapt them to your plans. The key is that we celebrate WTD together!

Our initiative is open to Guide and Scout units of all age groups from all over the world that are WAGGGS Member Organisations. It welcomes everyone, from brownies to rangers.

Everything about “World Thinking Day 2027: let’s celebrate it together with Polish Guides and Scouts!”
This initiative pairs Guide and Scout units/groups from around the world with Polish units to complete activities together based on the WAGGGS World Thinking Day 2027 pack. The goal is to foster international friendships, promote cultural exchange, and celebrate World Thinking Day (WTD) together.
Once you’re paired with a Polish unit, you can choose an activity from the WTD 2027 pack to do together. You can participate in person, online, or a mix of both. It’s flexible: follow the activity as described or adapt it to fit your WTD plans.
Remember that you can cherish this relationship after WTD.
We divided ways of collaboration into three sections:
You can join the initiative until January 28, 2026. After that, you will receive the details of your partner unit and can start collaborating on WTD activities. The time frame for completing the tasks with your paired Polish unit is from the second half of January 2025 through the end of February 2025. Please consider any other planned activities during this period and indicate in the registration form any specific dates when you will be unavailable.
No, you can adapt the activities from the WTD pack to suit your unit’s style and interests. The important part is that you celebrate WTD together with your partner group.
The goal is to create lasting international friendships, share cultures, and work together as Guides and Scouts on meaningful projects inspired by the WAGGGS WTD 2027 theme “Our People”. This is also a chance to explore the values of the Movement and make a difference in your local communities.
